Frequently Asked Questions

How will I know which is the right treatment for me?

Prior to booking an appointment, I advise a brief free telephone consolation, to advise me of the key area(s) you are struggling with. This will enable me to see if we can continue with treatment and full assessment.

The severity and length of time you have experienced your symptoms for, will determine the number of sessions required. These typically range between 6 to 20 sessions. We would work together on deciding when would be an appropriate time for therapy to end accordingly.

Sessions last for 50 minutes.

Everything discussed in sessions remains confidential. The only time confidentiality is broken is if I am concerned that you are at risk, either to yourself or to someone else. If this were to happen this would be discussed together and you would be provided information on how to seek further support.

I work with a range of the major insurance companies. Please contact me directly regarding this.

I do not treat clients under the age of 18.

I am fully insured with an enhanced CRB check.
I am GDPR and ICO compliant.
I also receive regular supervision (BABCP accredited)

If you are in crisis and need immediate support you can access this through NHS services: Attending your local A&E, calling 111 or 999. You can contact the Samaritans on 116 123.
